We have seen all manner of lots sell under the hammer this year, from a land and quirky properties in the Peak District National Park, detached period family homes never been on the open market and requiring lots of love and TLC, to a derelict farmhouse in North Yorkshire with outstanding views, a former care home offering development potential, our lowest price lot at £9000 for a two bed terraced needing heaps of work, buy to let opportunities for multiple houses and flats and of course homes in need of refurbishment which our builder buyers have successfully tackled as renovation projects.
The final auction of the year presents a superb mix of lots yet again. We can suit all pockets, all types and all projects. We have residential, commercial, buy to let options, flats and a long term regulated tenancy up for grabs. Either way location, location, location is key and we have lots local to South Yorkshire but also as far as Northallerton, Nottingham, County Durham, Leeds, Pontefract, Mexborough and Middlesborough.
For those not bought at auction you do need to do your homework beforehand, so legal packs can now be downloaded online in advance of the sale and if you have any questions at all the Auction Coordinator Steph would love to hear from you so give her a call on 0114 254 1185 or email email@example.com. Don’t forget if you can’t attend the auction on auction day and you still want to bid we can arrange telephone and proxy bids for you, head to the website for more information or give us a call to arrange. (We cannot set up telephone bids on the day of the auction, you need to have advised us well in advance so please don’t leave it until the last minute, we do have rules and regulations and being the good law abiding citizens we are we will adhere to them!)
Also a polite reminder that we now require any parties wanting to bid in the auction to pre-register. They can either do that direct with Blundells or Bridgfords/Frank Innes/Spencers/Dixons/Bairstow Eves office before the date of the auction or on the auction day itself. On auction day you will not be allowed to bid on any of the lots unless we have seen all your ID (photo and proof of address), proof of funds and solicitors details, so please take time to ensure you bring everything with you on the 17th and arrive early to be sure you register in time!! Doors open at 11am.
For those thinking of selling if you have a property, land or investment to sell and require an appraisal as to its suitability to be sold at auction please me know. I can offer a fantastic alternative to an open market listing and a realistic valuation with a fast pace route to exchange. We also have the Blundells lettings team at the auction room so if you need any lettings advice or 'Buy to Let' info these are the guys and girls to ask. We are already taking instructions for our first sale of 2020 so if you have a property to sell and require an appraisal as to its suitability to be sold at auction please let us know.
So with that in mind and as we head to the close of the year I'd like to wish all my clients past and present, my colleagues at Blundells, Bridgfords, Bairstow Eves, Spencers and Frank Innes estate agents a very happy Christmas and holiday season. I’d also like to take this opportunity to personally thank my team; Andrew Winter, my super lovely auction ladies Mel and Stephanie for all their hard work and support in 2019, it's been a belter of a year and I’m already looking forward to 2020.
I’ll see you on the rostrum in December for the final time this year and lets jingle all the way......
